‘Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal’

Tasmanian Soap Farm | Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal | Tassie Devil

Tasmanian Devils (scientific name: Sarcophilus harrisi ) are Tasmania’s official animal emblem. They are carnivorous marsupials and once roamed the Australian mainland, but now they are only found in the wild in Tasmania. Unfortunately, since the 1990’s, Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) has threatened the species, and they are currently endangered. To learn more, you can drop by the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program (STDP) site.

A percentage of every one of your soap purchase is donated to the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal — a worthy cause championing research at the University of Tasmania (UTAS) to help rescue these iconic animals.
